Nanophotonics and Biophotonics

Our efforts have been dedicated to applying our expertise in electromagnetics, photonics, and micro/nano-fabrication to develop next-generation technologies that solve challenging problems in life sciences, agriculture, environment, and sustainable energy. Our vision in exploring biophotonics lies at studying the intersection of biological and micro/nano scale systems through a wide variety of optical phenomena. The group members are young, energetic, and talented who came from multiple disciplines, including electrical engineering, material science, and biophysics. They enjoy fostering innovative technologies, as well as obtaining knowledge and skills for future career successes.
